The F-4 is one of my all time favorite a/c … [^] I have many fond memories of standing at the fence and watching them launch and recover the F-4’s of the 183rd TFG of the IL Air National Guard at Capitol Airport (now Abraham Lincoln) at Springfield … I miss the old bird … a lot. She was/is a fine a/c.
