Although I don’t personally know Blackwolf, I enjoyed his quizez and most of all his vast collection of pictures, not to mention his willingness to help all of us when we were looking for something…
I myself haven’t used them much for reference (I prefer books for that manner), but I’m sure many of you did.
It’s ashame that a couple of stupid wheels can be at the base for this.
I’m sure that, although Blackwolf apparently canceled his membership, he still visits us as a guest.
That is why I would like you all to post a reply at this tread, so that Blackwolf knows that we realy value his return.
So, guys let’s all shaut : “Blackwolf, come back to us please !!!”

Get your buns back on this forum. I built my first model in 1936 and I still depend on people like you for knowledge and ideas no matter how its worded. Thats maybe why I enjoy Don Rickles type of humor. When I didnt see any paint on the circle templet, it was obvious you did not use it as a mask, but as a pattern for cutting discs from tape.

Either way, if you happen to be reading this, I strongly urge you to reconsider, as you were one of the most helpful members in this forum, and the lack of your membership will once again diminish this community.
I too would like to see ya come back… I always gained something out of your posts… yes, including the infamous wheel masking one, gonna try that, and got some ideas from more than a few of them… I really would miss having someone like you around…
The thread says “petition”… If somebody like blackwolf makes up his mind to leave, nothing is gonna make him come back. Sorry to say it, but that may be the case.
It seems that folks will come and go around here, but Steve is part of the “bedrock” of this forum and with his absence the forum, while interesting, will not be nearly as useful as once was. Every forum of enthusiasts, be it online or real world, needs a sometimes eccentric gad-fly to liven things up. Take the good with the jabs. Afterall, I don’t think Steve was trying to be malicious or hurtful with his subtle - albiet humorous intitial response to the wheel challenged. Sometimes crow can be a much needed supliment to one’s foraging! Let’s eat…
BTW - this is not to suggest that other guys like swanny and Pix etc…are not part of that same bedrock.

I don’t know you that well, but from what i have read you have a lot more friends here then you relize. I have gone back at least 120 days and read what seems to be a libary of knoledge the size of the Smithsonin twice over. Your knoladge and x-pertice are sorely missed and the tips you come up with are always help-ful.
as it is said rain must fall but just shake it off and get your burners going and get back here.
