Peter, here are those pics...

Here are my only remaining R/C planes, a divorce forced me to sell off most off my R/C airforce a few years ago.
The only plane I really hated to sell was a Fw 190D-9, that model had a scratch built cockpit and an accurate paint job with hand mixed colors to match the Monogram Painting Guide book.

My own design stunt plane

Those are great ! Thanks for the posting the pics i really appreciate it.I bet that luftwaffe camo made it hard to see , especially with folage in the background or coming in to land .it looks very cool though !I’m sorry you had to sell some of them. …But what a good excuse to get some more !! how did your own design stunt plane perform ??? did you base it on another kit ??Thanks again , Happy flying and happy modeling ! …Peter.

Peter,
Yes that Luftwaffe camouflage works very well indeed! When doing touch and goes or landing the plane it was EXTREMELY hard to keep track of the planes attitude when it went below the tree line. The spiral spinner actually works quite well and can be seen easily when the engine is at idle, many other pilots made comments about it.
This plane was built in 1996 and is still in great shape after at least 100 flights on it.
It is very nice to have the excess of power this plane has, I can taxi to the runway and give it full power and after only a few feet it leaps into the air and can climb straight up with no sign of slowing down. I did this once and kept going until the plane entered a low cloud, after losing sight of it I chopped the power and spun back down out of it. I can do most stunts very easily at 3/4 throttle.

That stunt plane I designed is not a copy of another design, it is all original.
It flies very well and has the quickest roll rate I have ever seen, notice the large ailerons on this model.
I have not yet flown this model to the ‘‘edge of the envelope’’ since the loss of our clubs flying field forced the end of my flying career. The C of G could be moved to the rear a little more and lighter landing gear are improvements I never had time to try on this plane, it is stable and easy to fly the way it is now but to be a really good stunt plane it should be close to being unstable.
