PE parts application....

I was going through an older book of mine and noticed that the author was applying PE parts to models using MM clear top coat. Any one ever use this method?

If you did how did it turn out?

Or am I better off with CA?
Thanks

CA’s going to give you a better bond Chris, but for little bitty parts that’ll work. Some people use Future also I hear. It does give you an advantage in time to adjust parts before it sets up.

CA hit with accelerator is my method of choice, but I’ve used epoxie, Future, clear enamel, and clear nail polish(which is just thicker enamel). Of the three finishs, used as an adhesive(future, enamel, nail polish), I’ve had the best luck with the nail polish! Please don’t tell my wife where her nail polish went![:p]

Hmmmm clear nail polish huh? Wife never uses it so I might as well right? LOL Of course murphy’s law tells me when I snag it and use it all up she’ll need it for something…Oh well thats what they make stores for hehe
