Is it the taste or is it the amount of work it takes to get 'em into your mouth
Gotta crack the shell, peel the little paper outside, get a grip on that slippery little nut and get it into your mouth
…all without dropping it or shooting it across the room ( sound familiar )
…but all you get is this little taste
…so you grab another because that didn’t fill you up
…next thing you know half the bag is gone
but then…you go back and do it again the next night
So
…does PE really look that much better ?
Or is it because You work so hard
you take so much time
you have to be so careful
-you are so impressed with yourself and the torture you endured
…you go back and do it again !
Ive only done 1 kit with PE and thats Promodelers Thunderjet. I have a Eduard color zoom for aTamiya P-51D and Ill see how that goes. mostly I build Tamiya and AM kits so as long as I due my part Im still left with a nice model even without PE.
If used properly, the difference is like night and day. This does not mean that every piece on the fret needs to be used. Some companys put a bunch of useless parts on the fret just to fill it up. Some parts are just about impossible to produce inscale with plastic, this is where PE comes to the rescue. I believe it’s a definite asset when used wisely. There is such a thing as “Too much of a good thing”.
