Make sure your processor fan is working and if you have an airbrush and compressor, open up your computer and blow all the dust out, especially on the CPU head sink and fan. Also blow out your internal power supply, and any other fans or vents you have. Dust is one of the number one problems with PCs as it blocks vents and restricts airflow. It’s a good idea to blow out your PC every couple of months.
I make that a part of my regular maintenance for all our PCs but with all the fires we had in the Reno area this summer the soot, ash and dust really clogged up our PCs and the air filters for the Air Conditioner. My PC was locking up and shutting down as well, but after I blew it out it was fine. Normally my CPU runs between 100 and 113 degrees. It was hitting upwards of 150 degrees before I blew the dust out. [:O]
Not a computer wiz persay iam better at trouble shooting hardware and networking issues, but when it comes to a mac i have no idea i hate unix linux base machines. And didnt you know macs are for stupid people[:-^][:D][:P][;)]

I can only ship a few at a time, depending on size of the kit. I have all the requests piled up with names and address’ and will ship out in the order I got them. May take a few weeks but I will get them out to you. I apoligise to you guys, but I sent the rest to the clubs of military modelers overseas and that taxed my wallet more than anticipated.

Hey Rob, Trouble shoot this one bro…
I sent Bud an email Friday afternoon. I had to go do an errand & came back & couldn’t get online again[B)] I reset the Modem several times & that usually fixes it the first time but didn’t. I called my DSL provider on Sunday & they ran a test and walked me through it & still nothing so, they retested the system & it checked out at 100%
Ok, I check my connections & swapped ends on a couple connections & still nothing[censored][%-)]
I called my father & he’d bring me an extra cord if he has it. Ok fine, I’ll kill some time getting things done here in the meantime. Well, I found & fixed the problem…
A mouse chewed the cable behind the couch[:(!] One wire comepletely broke the other bares so, I spliced them back together[:D]
Thats why they tought us KISS keep it simple stupid always check your cables first and i mean all of them. Some of worst issues can be caused by a cable, and always keep you CAT-5 cables away from anything that produces an eltromagnetic field it causes degradation of the packet’s sent throught the cable.
OOPs my my fault its RF Noise and electrical interferance, Like any big electrical apliance tv’s can interfer your power cables to the computer or UPS units. Basicaly if any cat-5 cable is close to a power cord it can effect your internet conection. Thats basicly why most big buisness’s run there CAT-5 cable away from hover head lites mainly flouresant, the transformer inerfers and degrades the information.Another thing is that cat -5 cable can only be ran 100ft before packet degradation that why they use repeters. Hope that kinds helps explane ED.
