I am building–or rather getting ready to build–a MH-53J Pave Low III and am looking to find out if the pilot’s overhead windows are tinted green or not. I have a few references and pictures, but none give an accurate COLOR representation of those windows.
Anyone know for sure?
I have spoken with a crew chief with the 20th SOS out of Hurlburt Field. Florida on this matter. He noted that as the windows are being replaced they are going to the clear untinted windows. That’s about as good as the info comes for me.

Speaking of ye ol’ Pave Low… Who punts out a decent 1:48 scale version?
After a VERY LONG search, I found a guy who was willing to sell an old Super Scale Int’l sheet of CH/MH-53 decals. Other than that, I really have no idea if anyone else carries '53 decals.
Currently, trying to figure out a way to laser photo-copy a sheet of Revell Ch-53 decals, but running into problems with the decal background color (baby/powder blue)–I would like to have a clear background.
Anybody else have any to sell, or have any leads to where I could find some good USAF or USMC CH/MH-53B/C/D/J decals???
