I was looking through ebay today and found a kit for “Passion Wagon”. This is a kit from Hasegawa of an early P-51: with bubble top but without tail fin. Is this an older kit, or is this a new offering from Hasegawa? Anyone got any info on this- thanks in advance …
I don’t have any info on this kit but I do have something you might like. I have an air-to-air photo of a P-51 rebuilt as Passion Wagon. I took the photo from the open door of a C-47 and was looking down on the fighter. If you are interested send me an e-mail and I can send you a copy of the photo
If it’s the same one I have it’s just the standard Hasegawa P-51D with the fin fillet still in place. the instructions just have you remove it.
There were two other P-51’s on the decal sheet, both without the fillet. In addition the kit I have just came with a type of rub-on decals for “Passion Wagon” only.
Thanks for the info guys. I thought it might be a new kit, and that I could same myself some work for an early mustang, but I guess I’ll have to get the saw out like everyone else.
