Here are some other planes from the collection. Sorry no detail shots at this time. Hope you like them. All are 1/48 unless specified.
Pro-modler F-102.
Italeri Phantom
Monogram F-106
Monogram F-101B, and Hasegawa, F-104 with F-100 in the background without decals.
These are all 1/72 scale. the Yak-28 is by a Russian Company called Red Wings, the LA-9 is unknown and the little one in the back just escapes me at the moment.
Here is one of our 3 1/48 scale B-58’s. All are RG kits.
You can see some of the other work in other posts. In Strategic Air Command GB you can see the SR-71, and B-47E. The Black bird is 1/48, and the B-47E, is 1/72. Thanks for looking. Enjoy.
Not bad at all. Went together like a breeze. Only draw back is raised panel lines. I have another in the stash that is going to be built as the one here at the SAC museum. Going to do a major overhaul on the kit, and use foil on it with metalizers. Wish me luck. that will be in the future though.
The Starfighter all of a sudden has me craving Fruit Stripe Gum, all of a sudden![8-]
And i love the Phantom too. I have to admit, the avacado-like green in the camoflage looks kinda unique. Unless maybe it’s just the brightness on my computer (been known to happen before)
But i’m really interested in the Voodoo ya got there. Any chance you might be able to comment on that a little farther? I’m interested in giving one of those a shot one of these days…
It is the old Monogram F-101B kit. Built straight from the box. It goes together well, and is fairly detailed, as is. It is Painted Games Workshop, Space Wolves Grey. That color is very close to ADC grey. will get more pic’s of it up this weekend.
