Hi guys, this is my Panzer IV Ausf. H
looking foward to your comments.

nice job. Welcome to the boards!

thanks

Very good job espically on making it look worned and weathered.Digger

Nice work! What do you have lined up next?

Thanks, not sure what I have lined up but will proberly be another German tank

Welcome to FSM!
Nice job!
What did you use to make the zimmerit?
And is that the Tamiya kit?

Thanks, it’s a Academy kit and I used a type of molding clay, but can’t remember the name of it.

Anthony, welcome to the insane asylum. Nice beat up Panzer IV. I like the chipping effect.

Couple of friendly suggestions:
When spraying camo, you might want to try a lower pressure(lots of overspray)
The cupola machine-gun looks like it might need some metallic-grey or silver dry-brushing(try repainting it black and then drybrush silver)
The zimmerit is a good effort (I myself have yet to try my own), but it needs to extend down the front of the lower hull and it is of the wrong pattern.

All in all, you’ve done well and i look forward to your next project.

thanks for the suggestions.

hey anthony,
i’ve got the same kit but ive lost the instructions for it by any remote chance could u email them to me please id be very greatful

sorry I would but I don’t have a scanner.

thats ok anthony thanks anyhow

If you want I can try and fax them to you.

Anthony,
First, welcome, secondly Is this the Pz IV H/J kit? (#1328), thirdly, though I am certainly no expert in the weathering field, I would suggest that that with so much paint worn off there would at least be a little rusting of the bare metal (if not a whole lot, depending on the climate that it was operating in). Just a thought, Pete

anthony it would cost a arm and a leg im in australia but thanks anyway

Firstly [#welcome] to the FSM forums Anthony. Your model looks good keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

It is the Panzer IV Ausf.H with armor (#1327) and thanks about the weathering tip, I will take this into consideration with my future models.

Excellent build. Very nice craftsmanship.

Regards, Rick
