Panzer Aces..a must read!

For those of you German Armor fanatics (like me) you’ve got to pick this up in paperback, “Panzer Aces” by Franz Kurokowski, the book is broken down into chapters covering Germany’s outstanding tank and assault gun aces. Wittman, Von Ribbentrop, Peiper and more…actual descriptions of the Tiger, Panther, Hornisse, PzlV on bothe Eastern and Western fronts. It is unbelievable what these soldiers endured. And, for all of us former tankers, it’s even got pictures!

ive got the big hard back version of Panzer Aces, but i bought the softback one so i could read it at work

After reading you start to rethink battle damage. How many hits did their tanks endure and kept on going.

Great book, well worth a read.
