on the back of my Ausf A there are 2 round things with handles
is this the place where the fuel was put ?

Nope. They are the air intake covers. The fuel filler cap is mounted flush with the engine deck, to the right and towards the rear of the center engine deck panel.

The filler cap is the one with the small center hole, to the left of center. The one with the missing cap is the radiator filler.

BTW, the Maybach HL 210 and 230 engines are gasoline powered, not diesel.
The Panther had a gasoline engine so the dirty stains, although aesthetically pleasing for the modeller, probably wouldn’t be very accurate. your call, however.
