Not really the “All WorkBench Reviews” available to FSM subscribers that I expected when I joined.

Below the bit that says, “Purchase this Issue” is the table of contents for the issue. The articles available online are hyperlinked there: by searching under “armor” for “finishing,” I came up with the article from the December 2004 issue on optics in modern armour (I assume the word “finishing” is embedded somewhere in the article!). I don’t think it’s the article you were looking for, but with a little digging, you may find it yet!

I’m sorry the article’s not online – maybe it was there for a while but has cycled out of the archive to make server-space for others. As a matter of fact, I don’t even recall which physical issue it was in, I have it somewhere but I haven’t been able to lay my hands on it for many years. I’ve been a reader since 1989, and while my collection isn’t complete I probably have well over 100 issues, none of them cataloged or stored in a readily-accessable way.
I just checked my hard drive and you’re in luck, I still have the text of the article! If you could let me have an email address, I’d be delighted to send it to you.
