Panther G Late Model (Tamiya 35176) Heater Assembly

Hello All!

I am currently building the Tamiya Panther V Ausf G kit. The heater assembly part (attaches to left side of engine deck) has what resembles a serial number embossed on the top of the part. Is that number supposed to be there? I can find few pictures of that assembly in the references I have. The few photos I have are not clear enough for me to tell if the number is there or not.

These are casting numbers and yes, they should be there.

I would have thought someone would have answered this by now…[:O]
