Wow thats a pretty cool lookin panther. i like the zim.

Thanks for sharing your Panther! we can never get enough of German Armor here on the forum. Nice job!

Steve

Nice camo scheme. Is that 1/72? Next time you might try a dark wash to really make that zimmerit pop out. As Steve said, we can never get enough Panzers on here.

Very nice job on your “Panther” Anthony. Just one suggestion, and it might just be the flash on your camera, but your finish looks to be a bit shiney! You might want to hit the finish with a coat of dullecoat to tone down the shine. Otherwise good job. Semper Fi, mike

It’s a 1/35 scale, and yw18mc it’s just the flash, it’s not that bright at all, and the box said PANTHER it’s not me![:)] just in case you guys were thinking I’m nuts[:D]

Thanks

Looks real nice. I agree with Tigerman and give it a nice wash- does wonders. I know all about the flash problem. Makes the dullest finish look shiney. I now take my pics in a well lighted room without the flash. Great job

Hi Anthony, really nice, I love the zimmerit, did you have to apply it yourself? and who is the manufacturer of the kit?
I find that to blacken the muzzle, ground pastel works well and it’s cheaper than pigments.
Good job keep it up!

Nice camo. Solid job. Is that the Italeri kit? Thanks for sharing.

Very nice work. Looks great.

Regards, Rick

That’s what I’m now thinking, it must be Italeri. The zim looked like it came with the kit and I didn’t know that their 1/35 had molded on zim.

That’s a nice clean Panther

TigerII

[:D]great work, are you going to do a wash. very nice[:D]

anthony, nice job! thanks for the pics!

Thanks all for the complements and suggestions, it is an Italeri kit and it came with the zim moulded right on the plastic.

Very nice Panther, very cleanly done…perhaps too clean?? [:P]
Cheers,
John

That’s a nice clean build Anthony. The flash does make it look shiny, doesn’t it. I had the same problem, until I did the same as Jason. Lots of light and no flash.

Nice job, Anthony. I’d like to suggest that you “metal-up” the starting crank, tow cables, cable cutter, etc. You could paint them a flat black base coat then dry brush with either a gunmetal or steel.

When I first saw your pics, I was really wondering which kit it is. I was pretty sure it wasn’t the Dragon, and it looked WAY too good for the Tamiya. I completely forgot about the Italeri. Thanks for clearing that up for us slow people!! lol

And thanks for sharing you pics.

btw, I couldn’t get your links to display here either. It may be your hosting site is not compatable with the forum. You could try Ron’s site or something like photobucket. Good luck
