Panda UH-1N (pics)

I just stumbled across these pics at another site… supposedly they were taken at the 2003 Shizuoka Hobby Show that’s just wrapped up.

It was mentioned at the “other” site that the nose doesn’t quite look right. Hard to tell here, but they do look kinda neat, don’t they?

FITTER

They’s look neater if we could see them Fitter. Maybe it’s a stealth chopper.LOL
Lee

LOL… They WERE there… let me see what went wrong, if I can…
FITTER

Nah… they’re gone over there, too. I should have copied them and posted them from my own photo site

FITTER

Well… they look cool, but yeah there is something mildly duckish about the nose… maybe its just me. Cool pics anyhow!
Thanks Fitter!

Now I can finally do “Angel” from the USS Iwo Jima!
I’ve only waited a decade to build it! LOL… gotta clear space now… dammit.

Bristows B212 here we come!

Just checked the products page on the Panda website - www.pandamodels.com and found the following:

35009 UH-1N Gunship.
35008 UH1-N Twin Huey.
35006 UH-1D Wasp.
35005 UH-1D !st Cav.

They look pretty impressive to me!

Cheers,

Rob M.

Is the camoed bird a Marine chopper? I don’t really see the Air Force or Army doing that.

I could be wrong but the ‘nose’ does seem to be kinda flat on top?..anybody?

Thanks for the pics!

Was there anything on the CHINOOK?..at all?

USAF 20th SOS, 1st Special Operations Wing (now the 16th SOW)

I couldn’t find any pics online.

Papa Echo 64:

I don’t know… too many pics for me to check through. I DID see a nice F-105 in there someplace…

DO THIS:

  1. right-click on one of the above photos
  2. click on “properties”
  3. copy-and-paste the url to your search window, or whatever it’s called at the top where you enter an url…
  4. Look at the last three-digit number… substitute a three-digit number up to 116 (after that you get an “error”) and hit “enter”

You should be able to view all the pics. MAYBE the CH-47 is there; I honestly don’t know!

ENJOY! (Maybe I should make this a separate thread…??)

FITTER

I looked at some other pics and the nose looks ok too me!
Seems to me like a better kit so far than the UH1-D’S! ( So far ) lets hope!

I saw Chinooks and Blackhawks do some cool stuff over at the Pendelton Air National Guard AIR SHOW last weekend! in Oregon. There was also a NEW Memorial that was dedicated for CREW 13 of the Doolttle Raid with a rebuilt ( for display only B-25 )…and one of the Pilots surviving Wife was also there …very interesting indeed. After the show there was a WWII Fly by including a B-25, P-51D, P-57, several navy Trainers and a Yak!
My Wife and I had a blast! After visiting some very small and cool places we dod not want to come home!

those are newer hueys…not the b-c-d-or-h versions we’re all familiar with…you will notice that the engine exhaust is a dual…for newer n versions and the nose is correct for it…similar to the nose of a bell jet ranger, hope this helps
