Panavia Tornado color question.....

OK guys I’m dumb. Can anyone tell me in either Tamiya color, or Testors Model Master enamel what the closest colors are for a Tornado GR1B in the 2-color wraparound scheme are?

I’ve googled myself silly and everywhere I turn, all I can find is “Dark sea Gray” , and “Dark Green”.

I’m not afraid to mix colors if I need, if I know which 2 to mix in what quantities, as I’m a poor guy and cant afford to waste paint.[:(]

Nothing I have tested on test panels looks quite right.

The colours you are looking for are specifically:

BS 381C: 638 Dark Sea Grey

BS 381C: 641Dark Green

The nearest Tamiya match for Dark Sea Grey is XF-53 Neutral Grey (Tamiya’s XF-54 Dark Sea Grey is way too light)

Tamiya has recently released an RAF Dark Green (XF-81) which may be close enough - it’s supposed to match 241 Dark Green (I haven’t seen it “in the flesh” yet).
