just goofing finishing up the digital storybook of my LCM-3 build and needed to fill some pages. this is tamiya pak36 3.7cm at gun, the door knocker. it was the reason i bought the kv-1 1941. just picked up the trumpeter early kv-2 with ribbed gun mantlet since i enjoyed the kv-1. but i digress again.
here are some pics of the gun. have started on the crew but that is on hold. i will probably do a small base/diorama with the gun hastily deployed in tall grass or wheat. that should be fun to make. i envision paint brush bristles, spray glue and oregano for the tops, airbrush the bottoms green and the tops tan.
