There are so many variables that go into choosing a paint. I’ll just say they if you limit yourself to one brand of paint you are putting yourself behind the eight ball. I used Testors Square bottles. Tamiya Acrylics. Mr Color Lacquers. Alclad , Metalizer, Polly Scale,& Vallejo (probably forgot something). Note, I don’t user model master line much, except for a few colors. I have had problem with color accuracy as well as opacity with that line. I could go on all day about what brand I choose for different situations but I don’t have time. HTH. Might comment more later tonight when I have time.
I agree.I use Tamiya, Modelmaster, Vallejo, WEM, among many others.
I primarily use MM, only because that is what is most readily available in my area. I have purchased some Humbrol, Tamiya and Vallejo paints. I will admit that I do like the Vallejo stuff for hand painting and Tamiya sprays have great pigment and coverage.
Me too, my cabinet is full of many brands and types. Before my last cleanup and disposal of old bottles, the count was about 135. Still have over 90, some used much more often, but no clear cut front runner among manufacturers.
Tamiya acrylics are my most used, but MM enamel, Vallejo Air and MM acrylics find their way onto some of my builds, they all seem to have their own strengths and weak points. I do wish I could narrow it down to one brand.

I tried to only use one brand, Patrick,I couldn’t make it work.
I wound up with buying 451 colors to get 221 matches that I needed, too many paints just weren’t the colors they were marketed as.
