In this months FSM there’s a build by Alfonso Martinez Berlana where he describes painting a darker version and highlighting a lighter version of the cockpit color. My question is what color do you use to darken and what color to lighten the color.

I beleive he means use different SHADES of the same color,what ever that may be.

Take your base color, add a few drops of white and some thinner to it. Mix well, turn airbrush pressure down low, move in close and get to work.
