Just curious if anyone out there has had any luck painting the metallic sheen on the F-22A? If so, what paints did you use and what colors?
There is a product out there called “Raptor Sheen” that you add to enamels to get the affect you’re looking for.
I don’t believe it is available anymore. Anyhow, I tried it as directed and it did absolutely nothing.
You might try mixing silver with the appropriate shades of gray or, using car paints and lightening a color
like BMW’s “Anthracite Gray”. You would use silver to lighten the paint. Just “Eyeball it”. It isn’t that hard to do.

That “Raptor Sheen” stuff is junk. You’ll get better results by mixing metallic paints with shades of grey like Ray said.
