Painting inside afterburner cans

Is there an easy way to paint the inside of afterburner cans on fighters or do you just have to spray down inside the can with an airbrush and hope you can cover everything without runs?
The ones on this F-15E are about an inch deep and 3/4" diameter so it is going to be a challenge.

I have always sprayed them. Use low air pressure and you will be able to get full coverage with no running. Dry brush to bring out the detail after the base coat has dried.

Thanks Berny.

I guess it won’t be as hard as it looks really.
What was tough was when I built my 1/72 scale Testors F-16 and had to airbrush the inside of the air intake with white. That is a small area with little room to maneuver the airbrush in. [banghead]
