Hey all, I saw a tank on here a while back that had a german tank painted in all grey and he did a really great job of showing how he pre and post shaded the color scheme. I have been looking on here forever and I can’t seem to find it, If anybody can help me out I would really appreciate it.
What tank was it?
I am not sure, I have been racking my brain over this, and I am coming up with nothing. It was maybe an early Panzer III or IV, im just not sure. I cant find it anywhere and it was on here in the last two months.
i would venture to say the builder was wbill76. his tutorials and finishes are the stuff that make strong men weep [(-D] i bet if you look at some of his current builds (a pz4 dak,i think) you will find a link to his build logs and slide show. if its not wbill try a modeler named doog. he’s another heavy that is so good that its hard to believe.
good luck
SAR
Byrneout,
Since you mention a Pz III/IV and post-shading, I’m not sure if my StuG III-A is one you might be referring to? If it is, here’s the link to the build log here in the forums: /forums/5/1045737/ShowPost.aspx#1045737
If you’re looking for something else…just pretend this post is the equivalent of the Jedi hand-wave… [;)]
SAR, you’re too kind but thanks for the compliment!
trust me you and doog earn everything said about yor skills[tup]
Hey Clint.
Have you made a start on the Puma yet ? I gotta admit, those magic tracks on that Marder kit scared the bejeebers out of me. Still plucking up the courage to start it. My first decent armour kit, dont want to screw it up.
Magic tracks are nice and fun! I recently tried my first, and that was a tiny Pz. I. They went on extremely well!! [:)]
