I’ve been building German aircraft for a long time… but almost all of them are fighters or night fighters… I have an He-177, with Fritz-X… I’ve painted them (the Fritz-X) RLM 02 as the instruction sheet says, and I have two He-111’s, but they carry torpedoes, so I want to build my third He-111 with bombs, my kit is the Italeri 1/72, I want to know what colors must I use for painting the bombs, because only FS codes are given in the painting guide…
Here’s a page that shows Luftwaffe drop weapons. The pics are B&W, but you can get an idea which colors are used by comparing them to known colors (such as RLM 76 and 02). The torpedoes appear to be ploished aluminum, with very dark tails (darker than the tailwheel tire color).

what’s the FS code? usually if you go to google.com and type in the FS code along with a major paint supllier (i.e. FS34186 Model Master) it will come up with a result (usually from a online hobby shop wanting to sell it to ya) saying what color it really is.
For my Stuka circa 1943 it called for RLM66 for the bombs.
