I have the Italeri 1/72 Caproni Ca.311… It comes with enough bombs for filling the bomb racks, so here’s the question: what color must I use for painting them?, the instruction sheet says Dark Green FS 34079, but I know that there are Italian WWII colors… as you know many bomber kits come without bombs (a closed bomb bay), so I dont’ have enough experience with bombs, specially Italian bombs…
my technique is cover the entire bomb with an airbrush (or paintbrush but airbrush looks so much better) in the lightest of your colors
after it dries (at least 24 hrs) then use blue painters tape to cover it for the camo scheme or italian WWII colors then airbrush again and remove the masking tape. Viola!
