I have just finished painting my 1/35 Churchill the dark green colour (xf-61). I’m not sure if I can leave it like that before sealing and weathering or if I should add lighter coats first then weather. Any help appreciated
Cheers.

Add the lighter shades first, before weathering. Otherwise the weathering will look inconsistent. Add the weathering after decalling and sealing.

[#ditto]…especially on the top surfaces–add some tan or buff to your breen mixture, and then spray over the top surfaces, concentrating on the inner surfaces of the panels, leaving darker color nearer the outsides.
Notice the degree of shading in this model–there are three layers of paint here, a base coat, and two lighter shades.
