Paint Problem

I am needing to know if there is a way to fix paint that has bubbled up. I used paint froma spray can on a 58 vette and where ever there is trim or anything it has bubbled up above it and looks real bad. I did’nt want to try and sand it or anything in case there is a better way to fix it. Thanks.

I’ve often found that bubbling occurs when the paint is applied too thickly.
Or - it’s a reaction with the undercoat.
The only fix I’ve found is to strip the paint and start again - try to make sure the overcoat won’t eat the primer. Try using the same type of paint from the came manufacturer, or spray enamel top coat over automotive acrylic primer.

HEY,
This may take a long time but to remove the paint i have used simple green. It takes a while for something this big but i had the same problem and this is what i had to do. You can get it anywhere that they sell cleaning products. Hope this helps.

Well I guess I will have to start all over. I did’nt think I was really putting it on to thick and that it was just where there are lips on the model. Also do you think high humidity might be a problem. I live in georgia and can only paint outside and being august the humidity is pretty thick.
