Are you doing a military model if so dont for get the flat clear coat.
I’m doing a B17G 1:48. So no future coating is what you’re saying.
You can do one coat of future (step 4) then finish with flat.[:D]
Goodl Luck
Decals are the most trouble-free when they’re applied to a smooth, glossy surface (switch #3&4). If you plan on using pastel chalks for weathering, apply them to a flat finish. Seal the pastels with a flat finish, to protect them. I would suggest :
Primer
Top coat
Future
Decals
Future
Panel “wash”
Flat coat
Pastel weathering
Flat coat
Put on shelf & admire.
Thanks!!!
Pix why do you put two coats of future just a??
modelkid - the Future over the decals protects them from the wash (to give you panel lines over decals), and the flatcoat (if using lacquer/enamel base).
