I have posted in the General Discusion about this idea I have had for a Group Build which cover’s the 60th annivesary of the end of the Pacific war, I had numerious dicsusion’s with another member on this topic, so I thought I would post it here. I have a planed starting and finishing date running from Nov to April '05.
Some members have expressed an interest in this project.
hey folks this idea has a great number of possibilities. i was looking at this and thinking the time frame would be after all the current gb’s and it would cover so much territory. what do you think?
My one problem with group builds is that I’d like to see them displayed in one place, especially one with the educational and historical value of the one you’re suggesting here. A scattered group of photos just doesn’t do it justice.
I would be interested, probably a Wildcat or Hellcat, depending on time perhaps something Japanese too. Would this also include the CBI too (not techically Pacific but seems most lump it in with the Pacific).
Im in, something from japan i believe is in order maybe a val or a kate or a rufe perhaps. I think its the kates turn on the bench ill keep u posted have research to do.
