Paasche VSR90-1 Help

Hi all, I have the paasche vsr90-1 airbrush set. I just completed a Tamiya MKI Spitfire not to long ago and my AB worked fine. Now I go to paint my MKII and it splatters the paint extremely bad. I use MM Acrylic and Enamels that are made for Airbrushing. The same exact ones that I used for the MKI. Does anyone have this AB and have similar problems? Can someone explain to me I guess how to completely clean and inspect the AB? I think that the needle has a slight bend at the tip but sometimes it looks fine and sometimes it doesn’t. Thanks in Advance,

Chris

Sounds like you have dried paint around the tip. Suggest you break down the tip assembly and clean it with lacquer thinner. Here is a link to a break down of the air brush. http://www.dixieart.com/Paasche_V_VJR_VSR90_parts_and_schematic.html

If you use acrylics it dries in the tip during your sessions, keep a qtip wet with windex or ammonia to wipe the tip when you get buildup.

Well I cleaned the tip and everytihing to where I can not see any paint in it at all. So I think I may have solved the problem of a clog unless there is something else I have to clean. I just do not understand how it can go from spraying perfectly to spattering paint everywhere.[:(][banghead]
