Paasche Hose Adapter to Compressor

I have a new TC-40 compressor (the silent one - works great). My Badger hose/connector - all good - both ends (the compressor end - and the airbrush end). No leaks. Just bought a Paasche Type H airbrush. The aftermarket fitting I got to attach the airbrush to the hose leaks. So - I got hose/compressor adapter kit so I could connect the Paasche supplied hose to my compressor. Crappy fit - leak is prominent. Is there a quality adapter kit out there - for both? As in quality adaptor for both the Paasche AB and the Paasche hose to the compressor? I will buy both - but so far - both purchases have not worked - poor engineering, I suppose.

Is it leaking at the hose connection or where the adaptor plugs into the AB?

If the hose connection, wrap the threads in some teflon tape and reassemble and see if that takes care of it.

Hope that does it.

i thought of that but haven’t had to use that tape with my existing connections - will give it a try but still interested in any recommended after market well engineered adapters.

If just hose to compressor, try a local auto parts store for brass fittings. Take in the hose and what you have on the comp. side and they should be able to fix you up.

I actually prefer the plumbers paste to the tape generally.

It seems this leak is common on several of the Chinese compressors though. I think Point Zero has better threads on theirs fwiw. You probably will have to fudge it with tape or paste. Or You could contact TCP Global and see what they have to say about it.
