P40 Tomohawk

This is the1/48 Scale P40 AVG Hobby CraftKit, I decided to mark it a little diffrent this time with some after market decals. The exhausts pipes should be square on this particular aircraft not the round type.

Again a pretty fun build which took less then a week of my spare time and really enjoyed painting it the North African color scheme. Azur Blue, Midstone and dark Earth.

WOW! Another stunning P-40. Really making me want to build another one. [:)] Thanks for sharing!

Not too feed your ego too much but…YOU RULE! checked out your website…great collection…love you shading on this one…makes my mouth water!! Can’t wait to see a work in progress from you.

Mark

thank you so much for the kind words and for checking out my web site. I give credit to the people who I have followed over the years and have been able to share the methods. The likes of Chris Wauchope from Australia as well as some of the outstanding modelers featured on Hyperscale, Aircraft Resource Center and Fine Scale Modeler Forumns.

I never get enough of gallery submissions.

All the best!

That looks great! I love the desert camo on this aircraft.

Little known fact, the AVG copied the sharks mouth from the British when they saw them on their P-40s in a magazine.

See what happens. ou dont look in for a couiple of minutes and the one just shoots on by. Glad i caught it tough, shes gorgeous. Love the faded paint and the photography. Very, very nice.
