Recently purchased the above (model no 8036), finding that it was the same molding as the Mauve kit (P40N). While the Eduard kit is also an ‘N’ model, it contains a separate sprue for an ‘M’ model, and also appears to have the correct transparencies.
I want to make sure I have all the parts to make a correct ‘M’ model. Can anyone help with info, url, scale drawings, etc, to enable me to confirm one way or the other.

All I can offer is a few wartime pix, of RAAF P40 M/N’s, some drawings of various types on the P 40 variants if they would help send me an email.
I have built both versions from the kit. It is the old Mauve tooling & can be built as either a N or M. The only difference is the fuselage fairing behind the cockpit, some interior parts & the rear canopy pieces. I found the fit of the M parts to be less than perfect, but the N was no problem.
