Modeling Subjects Aircraft

I want to model baber’s P38G. The research would indicate he was the one who actually shot down Yamamoto’s Betty. The kit is not a problem, what I am looking for are a set of decals for his plane. Anyone out there know of a source?

first off check with Great Models website or Squadrons, at
www.greatmodels.com
www.squadron.com
and it’ll be helpful if you have the unit Number (I.E. 474 FW circa 1943) and you do have the pilots name so half of the search is completed, try Super Scale Decals, AeroMaster Decals, Cutting Edge Decals, and there are a few other but my mind is drawing a blank right now (it’s Monday and I have been on a 12 day work week (day 8 of 12) but try them also the main reason I said Great Models is that they have a picture of the decal set and sometime even a review of them too

Welcome to the Forum [#welcome]. I believe SuperScale included that aircraft on one of their 1/72 sheets several years ago. Sadly it would be long OOP.

Thanks for the replies guys. I model in 1/48 scale Barber’s plane was in the 339th fighter group
