P&W R-1830 Engine Colors

I’m doing a multi-engine plane (B-24) with Pratt & Whitney R-1830 engines. I believe the Model Master “Engine Gray” 36076 is a pretty good match for the crankcase. Can anyone suggest a color match for the cylinder heads? TIA

Heres a couple of pics its a 1200 out of a B-24 but i think colors are pretty much the same.

As the PBY also used this engine, try looking at color photos of PBY’s and B-24’s. Also try looking at the US Air Force Museum website, their list of air museum websites and US Navy museums for photos.

Here is a pic of a 1830. I just searched around as said above and found this one.The F4-F uses the same engine.
