P/E weld seams

I mostly frequent the SAE website, but am a member of this one too. I recently saw a couple of members at SAE use photo-etched weld seams and was told that it might be a military thing.

Does anyone know of P/E weld seams and where I might be able to get some?

I haven’t heard of p/e weld seams. Can you get the modellers at SAE to give up their sources? I would be interested to see what they look like.
