Hey everyone out there! I’m currently working on two aircraft: the monogram P-61 and the AMT P-70 night fighters. I need some references for both aircraft, mostly stuff on the radars (Pics PLEASE!!!) for both aircraft and the cannon bay of the P-61. ANY help would be appreciated!
Check out “Queen of the Midnight Skies” by Garry R. Pape Ronal C. Harrison. Excellent book, great photos and it really tells the story of US night fighters in WWII. Runs about $45 from Schiffer books, but it is well worth it.
If you go to Google, type p-61 and hit the Images, you will get pretty much anything you want.
P-70 doesn’t help too much as only brings up a couple pics on the wpab site.
