P-47D Razorback Photo (Revised)

I finally got a decent digital camera and am posting a photo of the P-47D I finished last fall. If this pic is too large, tell me, also tell me what’s the best setting, i.e. megapixels, etc. for photos on the forum. My camera has several resolution settings.

This is the Tamiya P-47D and I echo all the other comments about how great it is to build, I really enjoyed it.

I’m now working on the Gearge H.W. Bush Accurate Miniatures Avenger. It’s turning out to be a great build also. I plan to post in progress pics soon.

Forum members recommended/suggested to not use Yahoo for my URL, so I’m trying this now with Photobucket. Comments, critiques and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Picture did not display… try hosting it at www.tinypic.com

Just the red X. Yahoo isn’t freindly to hyperlinking. You could also try Photobucket.

Very nicely done…you’ll love the Bush Avenger. Several builds later, the Bush remains my favorite build. THanks for posting the pic.

Heck yeah! that is a nice bird! How’d ya mask off the color line, it looks super crisp!

Thanks for the great comments. As I said I really enjoeyd building it.

To mask the color line I just put down a piece of masking tape, penciled on the line and tthen trimmed it with a new hobby knife blade.

Looks great! I love the very subtle weathering.
