P-40 For my friends son.

I built this P-40 for a friend I work with, they are doing her sons room in airplanes and asked if I could build one for them. Its the Academy kit.

I’ve only done one other model for a friends son and it was a P-38 last year.

All small parts were left off due to their age. From my understanding the P-40 will be hung up so he cant touch it and I’m not sure of the P-38’s fate as I no longer talk with that friend.

Nicely done. Reminds me of a 38 I did back in the mid 90’s for an airport lunchroom down in southern Oregon. Hope that yours still survives.

Great job psycho, on both! I love the P-40! Kuddo’s for doing this for your friends son. It’ll be something he’ll appreciate later. Hopefully, he’ll not tie a string to one wing, twirl it round and round, in an effort to bring down his best friends dad’s model plane :wink: Raymond
