I am building a 1/72 P-40. I dropped the model and broke the antenna of one of the fuselage halves, I lost the antenna on the floor. Is there a good resouce I can use as a guide to build an new antenna? For example a book with P-40 blueprints.
First, welcome to the forums![#welcome]
Osprey Publishing has several excellent books on P-40 Aces, which have drawings in the back of the different P-40 models. I don’t know if they would be considered blueprints in the truest sense of the word, but they are done to 1/72 scale. Since this is the same scale as your P-40, it should be easy to use the drawing of the antenna as a guide.

Well, I dont know about blueprints or whatever, but I think that given the small scale, you could just go by reference photos to come up with whay you need from a toothpick or piece of extra plastic. I may be wrong but the antenna at that scale is basically just a sliver. maybe this will help.
this photo is from the aircraft resource center btw, check it out theres lots of p-40 shots there. http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/
