Hi to all,

Here are some photos of my P-3C in RAAF Compass scheme. I know its not the best finished model, but this is the best I can do, as my skills are mediocre at best!! But I like to build, so I must get some photos of my flying pancake posted here as well. I managed to finish that one as well recently!! Well its off to work I go, I did a 1600mtr swim this morning, even though its a wet and miserable day. I figured I could not get any more wetter!![:P]

Hey traveller…don’t beat yourself up. The P3 looks mighty fine from where I am sitting and may I also say…mighty big!

How big is the finished model and who makes it?

Good work on the paint job too!

Great build and the paint looks flawless. She looks like she’s ready to zip over to the ship forum and blow the krap out of some submarines.

The Hasegawa 72nd kit with Aussie Decals aftermarket markings. The scheme was trialled in 1992, before we went over to the all grey paint job. As for size, not sure as I am too lazy to measure it. When the weather is as warm as it has been, its off to the pool I go!!! I hope in October 2010 I will be in Canada and US to see some family, so I may have to visit some more LHS while I am there.

I think it looks great!! It’s very rare to see a P-3 around nowadays. Very nice.
