excellent engine, looks good so far keep it up.

Coming along very well. Are you going to correct the kit windscreen & canopy or stay with the OOB build ?

What do you mean? i dont want to hear stupid but since i dont have any references and i am kind of lazy on this kit i am just gonna build it OOB, i have checked on the web for some shots and the windscreen and canopy are just the way my model is…
Thanks

Unless they have retooled it, which I doubt, the frames on the canopy & windscreen are incorrect. Take a closer look at your references. It’s not real hard to correct and if you decide not to fix it very few will notice.

Lookin’ good so far. Purchased that kit a while ago myself. Plan to do it straight OOB as well. Needless to say it’s on the “To-Do” list along with the other 65.5 1/48 kits in my stash.[:P]

Coming along nicely. Looks like the kit has some heavy sprue attachment points by the looks of the leading edge. Are you doing NMF? If so, which brand? Keep up the good work !

I built this same subject myself some time ago for a Toy Fair trade stand in the Swedish markings, mine was OOB.

I’m not real familiar with the history of this aircraft, but it looks kind of like a nascent P-47. Is there a relationship between the two aircraft?

Mobydick,

I think you will find the P35 was a predecessor of the P43 Lancer, which was the predecessor of the P47, thus the family resemblance.

Looking good so far mandrake. Cant wait to see it completed.
