Overpowered Oddball/ Cessna 172LR

Those of you who know my work will not be surprised by this one.[:D] I got ahold of a Cessna and a DC-4 off the clearence shelf and decided to see what I could do with them.

There’s no rhyme or reason for this other than I thought it would look outlandish and colorful on my shelf.

Eddie

What has Science done??!?!?[:O]

[:)][bow]

Well, Eddie, I’m afraid you are quite wrong—That looks outlandish and colorful anywhere![^][tup] That’s a great paint job, too!

It would have to take off on two engines, then start the others when airborne. No one’s going to miss it in the pattern, either.

I see what you did there…

It’s got kind of an RJ85/Dash-7/DeHavilland Heron appeal to it.

Cool, I love the yellow stripes on the wings.

What is the take off run for that thing? About 10 feet!

Darwin, O.F. [alien]

I wondering about the power-to-weight ratio. Specifically if it can fly straight up under its own power…[}:)]

LOL…
I’d bet that thing could lift a couple of dozen people at least…lol…
Nice job, Eddie…good to see the meds are working at last…

Holy Cow!! Am I ever glad I never had to use that much fuel in my C172! [:-^]

Ken

I would love to watch that at runup: “Full throttle all engines; groan! snap! twist! pop! Whoa!! Where did the wings go?!!?!”

Whoa! That is one Odd Duck!

I think you’re going to need more than those two wing tip tanks, for extra fuel!

At least Search and Rescue will be able to easily spot the wreckage, when all that power pulls the wings off! [:D]

hmmm…distant cousins???

trexx runs and hides…

Thanks Everyone![8D] It turned out pretty good for me because it was meant be a “simple” build that wouldn’t take too long. It only took about 3 weeks, considering I work on a few at a time. Once again, thank y’all.[C):-)]

Oh, by the way, I’ve started another monster project. It’s for a Junkyard GB over at What If and it’s called the 31 Flavor Frankenstein. So far, it has pieces from the F-4,5,14,15,18 and F-22.[8-]
