Hello all. I have been lurking here for some time picking up valuable information with my currant project in mind.
I have been waiting for the Roden OV-1A kit to be noticed by the detail companies and it has finally happened.
This project is near and dear to my heart as I served with this aircraft in a support role, though it was the “D” model. I am waiting for it to be released. I have already preordered the B/C models.
Now I have a question that I am sure someone here will have the answer to. It pertains to the MK-J5D ejection seat used in this aircraft.
I have found many sites with detail information that has bee extremely helpful. But I can not determine the seat bottom and back colors for the “A”. American Wings Air Museum shows pictures of the seat as I remember it with a padded gray quilt like cover. But, other sites pictures show a red seat and a green back, this is how the detail kit shows to build it. Could someone shed some light on this for me.
