This is my first time posting to the forum. I recently started modeling again after about ten years of hiatus. I would like to ask everyone if anyone knows how to obtain two of the Paragon Design OV-10A update sets. I have the missing links resin updates from Roll Models but I’m m not very impressed with the quality. I am currently trying to build them for my father that was a mechanic at George AFB (may it RIP) during the late 80’s. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Myth
From what I understand, Paragon closed it’s doors or something like that. I know it’s extremely hard to them. I too have the kit and wanted the update set. I’ll check some more for ya.
I also have the Missing Links set and I guess that will have to do for me as well. Nose weight will be a problem. The first time I built this kit I had to put about eight fishing sinkers in the cockpit behind the seat. Now that I’m going to have a two-seater, I have no clue where to put the weight. A metal landing gear set would also be nice. The Testors kit’s main gear is very fragile.
I was at George from 1973 to 1978, before the Broncos arrived.
Ok I checked the one place that sold Paragon stuff and there’s not much left. The OV-10 Bronco stuff is sold out as well. Guess we’ll have to hope someone else does some conversion kits.
Thanks for all the help everyone, too bad about Paragon Designs. Looks like I will be using the Missing Links parts and adding some scratch built parts to bump up the detail. As I get it completed I will post some pictures.
