The weather hasn’t been ideal, but I’ve managed to get about a dozen rounds in since early April. Supposed to play in a local Seniors’ tournament/outing tomorrow if it doesn’t rain.

try up here in the UP (the great white north in Michigan terms) we have 6 golf courses just in the Eastern Upper Penninsula. Hmmm maybe I can pull out my P-51 Hasegawa kit (Checkertail clan) but that would be after I do my 1/48 scale Hasegawa F-16C which I am going to add decals for the 107th FS Red Devils out of Selfridge ANG base.

I didn’t know there was an OOB Gb starting. Mind if I get in on the action? Mine will be the Hasegawa F-86-F30.[8D]

June thru September, hmmm? Normally the concept of out-of-the-box doesn’t work for me, then I remembered an old Tamiya A6M2 Zero that has been sitting up in my closet for a few years. I really hadn’t planned on doing much beyond building it, and because wheels-up is an stock build option, and they do include a seated pilot figure, I won’t have to cheat in order to pose it “in-flight”.

This will be a good excuse to knock down the pile a bit, and June 1st will give me enough time to organize the work bench. Count me in.[tup]
