Model Expo had a sale a month ago and I’d just got through re-reading @Luvspinball’s inspiring thread on his USS Constitution build. Three weeks later, this little guy showed up.
As I mentioned in that thread, I grew up at in Duluth, MN, at the Head of the Lakes, and have always considered it a maritime town; Gordon Bok, Bill Staines, and Stan Rogers continue to be my “home” music. So a Grand Banks Dory seems a fitting toe in the water, if you will.
Might be a while before it hits the bench but I’ve already dug through it and it seems achievable.
Oh, and this stick-and-tissue kit was on sale too, so it somehow made it into the cart…
