I thought I heard or read somewhere that Otto Carius has a book.
If he does, is it available in english?

Yup, he sure does…

It’s called Tigers in the Mud, and its available in hardcover and paperback at most Borders and B&N.

another good one is a book called Panzer Commander by Hans Von Luck. really really good book from his memoirs from the invasion of poland all the way up to the end of wwII. i highly reccomend it if you’re interested.

Tigers in the mud is probably one of the best books if you want the inside story from a Tiger tank. I have the paperback edition from Stackpole, the original hardbound version sells at some extreme prices. Very good book, highly recommendable.
