Osprey P47 Modelling Manual

I just picked up the new modelling manual about the P47 and it is really good! Lots of the kind of information we modellers like. It was well worth the $17 or so that it cost. It’s only just been released, and I had to have my local Borders order it for me. (only because I didn’t want to have to go through creating another username and password just to order one book online) And, Osprey has a downloadable 1/72nd supplement that you can get for free to go along with it. (the book concentrates on 1/48) Kind of cool.

Does anyone else have the book yet? What do you think of it?

I also have the book and also like it. It does give a lot of great info and the photos are really nice. I even wish it were longer and had a few more details about the builds, but that is more because of where my skills are at. Of course it is a p-47 modeling manual and not a basic modeling manual. [:)]

I have the stang and Spit ones. If its as good as those then its a keeper.
