what causes it? I let the enamel paint dry for a week and when I air brushed another coat this happend, so I had sand the whole thing.
Sounds like the two paints were incompatable. Did the entire model do this or just a few spots?
-sorry, didn’t read your post close enough- If you’re using the same paint, It’s possible that the paint was too thick.

I’ve found that if you notice it while you’re painting you can shoot another, slightly heavier coat over it and it will level out. I’ve started thinning my paints more lately and haven’t had as much problem with orange peel.

also you need to have the surface as smooth as possible. Even polis the primer with 1200/200 grit
